I'm developing a model from a game called Star Citizen. It is a massive multiplayer space simulator currently under development. The Constellation is a multicrew ship capable of exploration, combat and cargo transportation.
My goal is to make a (drone) model capable of VTOL with Forward Flight. The model was extracted from game files and was successfully converted for use with Fusion360. With Fusion360 I was able to add more features including motor mounts and air vents for the engine nacelles as well as including cargo ramps and missiles racks.
This is still under construction with lots of planning and I'm hoping to have a working model very soon.
Any feedback on modifications to this model to help achieve a successful maiden flight would be appreciated. Thanks
3D printers use CAD to create 3D objects from a variety of materials, like molten plastic. 3D printers can come in a variety of shapes and sizes ranging from equipment that can fit on a desk to large construction models used in the making of 3D-printed houses.
I use them in helping out my projects for prototyping and final products.
CAD (computer-aided design) is the use of computer-based software to aid in design processes. CAD software is frequently used by different types of engineers and designers. CAD software can be used to create two-dimensional (2-D) drawings or three-dimensional (3-D) models.
Most common used by me are Fusion360 and Solidworks
